Turn Your Story Into Gold - Master the Art of Public Speaking (Moran Weber)
“I don’t have anything interesting to say”, “I'm not an expert on anything”, “Everything was already done before"; Do any of these sound familiar???
I believe we all have a story worth sharing. But how do you get started? And how, on earth, do you overcome stage fright?
Throughout the years, and after training hundreds of tech speakers, I have gathered a handful of powerful tips that helped me manage my own unbearable stage fright and turn others' stories into incredibly awesome tech talks. Join us, and you too will be able to transform your stories into gold.
Don’t Curb Your Enthusiasm - About Open Source, Community Building, and CSS Art (Michal (Porag) Epshtein)
In the past 5 years, I’ve transformed my career from a junior developer who had just learned to code into a public speaker, a CSS artist, a tech blogger, and an open source community leader.
In this talk, I’ll share my journey, and how my enthusiasm and passion for building helped me grow my career.
I’ll reflect on how connecting with a wide range of people, each bringing their own unique perspectives and skills, shaped my path and led to unexpected collaborations with some of the industry’s top thought leaders.
I’ll show you that the path to a fulfilling tech career often lies in the energy you bring, the curiosity you follow, and the relationships you nurture along the way.
Compiling My Thoughts: Why Writing a Tech Blog Shaped My Career (Maya Gershovitz)
I started my tech blog when I was job hunting and realized I was terrible at explaining myself in interviews. Writing was my way of practicing - I used the empty page as my "rubber duck". Throughout the years my career advanced, I changed and so did my content. Blogging helped me to organize knowledge, learn new things and sharpen what I know. It also turned out to be meaningful for others—over the years, readers have told me my posts gave them the advice, tools and confidence they needed at pivotal career moments.
In this talk, I’ll share how writing publicly has shaped my career - from interview prep to personal growth to handling online backlash. I’ll also discuss why I always focus on the process, not just the polished results, and why embracing the struggles is key to long-term improvement as engineers. If you’ve ever wondered whether blogging is worth the effort, this talk is for you.
From Zero to SaaS: Learning to Code and Launching a Dev Business (Neta Dror)
Just a few years ago, I was on the product and marketing side, collaborating with developers but never writing a single line of code myself. Then, I made a bold decision: to dive into coding, build real products, and eventually launch my own tech company. Today, I run a development business and have built MDTportaal.nl, a B2B SaaS platform used by thousands of students in the Netherlands.
In this talk, I’ll share my journey from zero to SaaS, focusing on how I went from self-taught developer to SaaS founder—without a CS degree or a traditional tech background. You’ll hear how I:
✔️ Learned to code and started building real-world applications
✔️ Identified a market need and turned it into a SaaS product
✔️ Grew a platform that now serves thousands of users
✔️ Balanced product thinking and development to scale efficiently
Whether you’re an aspiring developer, a product manager looking to get technical, or a founder wanting to build and launch a SaaS, this talk will give you a real-world roadmap, from learning to shipping to scaling.
