Welcome to Women on Stage, a global community platform that aims to showcase, book, and train women tech speakers for tech related events (The “Service”).
The Service is operated through our website at www.womenonstage.net (the “
Website”). The Service is owned and operated by Women on Stage (“we”, “us”).

The following key points of the Terms of Service are only brought for your convenience. They do not substitute the full Terms.

  • Registration. Certain services provided through the Website are only available to registered users. 

  • Use of The Website. You may use the Website for your personal or commercial purposes, and only in accordance with these Terms.

  • Privacy. We respect your privacy. For more information about our privacy practices, please read our Privacy Notice.

  • Intellectual Property. All legal rights in the Website, including all intellectual property rights, are owned by us and our licensors.

The Tel Aviv District Court shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction over any claim in connection with the Website or in respect of any matter relating to these Terms.

Please carefully read the following terms of Service (the "Terms"). The Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and us. By accessing the Website or by using it in any other manner, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access the Website or use it in any manner. 

 

ABOUT THE SERVICE
The Service provides professional women speakers and event organizers a platform where they can easily connect and book speakers for tech related events. Users may register to the Website as a speaker or as an event organizer.  

 

REGISTRATION 
You may access some of the Website’s features without registration. However, in order to be registered as a speaker, or book a speaker for an event, you must register to the Website.
Information You Provide. When you register to the Website, we will ask you to provide us certain details as described in our Privacy Notice
We reserve the right to request additional information to verify your identity, during the registration process and through your use of the Website. If you fail to provide us the requested information, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your registration to the Website, pursuant to these Terms. 

False information. If we believe that the information you provide is false, deceptive or offensive, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your registration. 

 

USE OF THE WEBSITE AND RESTRICTIONS
Subject to these Terms, you may use the Website, exclusively for your private or commercial purposes.
While using the Website, you must refrain from:

  • Breaching the Terms or any other applicable rules and instructions that we may convey with respect to the use of the Website;

  • Engaging in any activity that constitutes or encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable law.

  • Interfering with, burdening or disrupting the functionality of the Website;

  • Breaching the security of the Website or identifying any security vulnerabilities in it;

  • Circumventing or manipulating the operation or functionality of the Website, or attempting to enable features or functionalities that are otherwise disabled, inaccessible or undocumented in the Website;

  • Using or launching any automated system, including without limitation robots, crawlers and similar applications to collect and compile content from the Website; 

  • Displaying the Website or any part thereof in an exposed or concealed frame, or linking to elements or portions of the Website, independently from the manner on which they originally appear or are made available through the Website;

  • Impersonating any person or entity, or making any false statement pertaining to your identity, employment, agency or affiliation with any person or entity; 

  • Collecting, harvesting, obtaining or processing personal information of or about other users of the Website.

SERVICES FOR REGISTERED USERS
Speakers. If you register to Website as a speaker, you will be asked to provide information regarding your professional background and your proposed lectures as described in our Privacy Notice. You may also add any relevant documents, files, photos or links (together referred to as “Content”). This information and Content will be publicly presented on the Website as part of your professional profile.  
We may but we do not have an obligation to review the Content you publish on the Website and we do not check it for appropriateness, violations of copyright, trademarks, other rights or violations. 

Event Organizers. If you register to the website as an event organizer, you will be able to book a speaker through the Website. When an event organizer books a speaker, the Website will send a notice to the speaker with the event organizer’s contact information. The speaker is under no obligation to accept the booking, and it is up to the speaker’s sole discretion whether to contact the event organizer.
We are not responsible for the Content, the quality or the level of service provided by the speakers. We provide no warranty with respect to the speakers, their services, or any communications between speakers and event organizers.
We take no responsibility and assume no liability for any actions, non-actions, speeches or Content attributable to the speaker. AS A SPEAKER, YOU AGREE THAT YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONTENT OF AND PERFORMANCE OF YOUR SPEECH.  AS A SPEAKER OR AS AN EVENT ORGANIZER, YOU AGREE THAT WE HAVE NO LIABILITY OR OBLIGATION TO YOU REGARDING THE QUALITY OF A SPEAKERS SPEECH OR THE PERFORMANCE OR NON-PERFORMANCE OF A SPEECH.  Users and speakers will work directly together regarding any disputes, issues or disagreements related to the Service. We are not responsible, and have no obligation, to mediate or otherwise intercede in any such disagreement. 

 

PRIVACY
We respect your privacy. Our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference, explains the privacy practices on the Website.

 

LINKS
The website may contain links to content published on other websites or external sources, provided by third parties. We do not operate or monitor these websites and content. You may find them, or the information and content posted therein not compatible with your requirements, or you may object to their content, or find such content to be annoying, improper, unlawful or immoral. By linking to a certain website, we do not endorse, or sponsor its content, or confirm its accuracy, credibility, authenticity, reliability, validity, integrity, or legality. We assume no responsibility or liability for such third-party websites or content, or their availability.

Except for the Content, we and our licensors own all rights, title and interest in and to the Website, including patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade names, service marks, trade secrets and other intellectual property rights, and any goodwill associated therewith.

INDEMNIFICATION
You will indemnify and hold us harmless, to the maximum extent permitted by law, from and against all damages, losses, and expenses of any kind (including reasonable legal fees and costs), related to any allegation or claim brought against us in connection with your use of the Website, your breach of these Terms or infringement of any third party’s rights. 

 

TERMINATION 
Terminating Your Registration. You may, at any time, request to terminate your registration by contacting us at contact@womenonstage.net. Upon termination of your registration, you will not be able to use the services that are limited to registered users.
Terminating the Operation of the Website. We may, at any time, discontinue or terminate the operation of the Website, or any part thereof, temporarily or permanently, for all users, or for certain users, without any liability to you. If we do so on our own accord and not as a result of your violation of these Terms, we will notify you in advance before such termination.

 

MINORS
You may only use the Website if you are an individual over the age of 18. By using, accessing or registering to the Website, you declare that you are at least 18 years of age. 

 

GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION 
Regardless of your place of residence or where you access or use the Website from, these Terms and your use of the Website will be governed by and construed solely in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. The Tel Aviv District Court shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction over any claim in connection with the Website or in respect of any matter relating to these Terms. 

 

GENERAL
Entire Agreement. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us concerning the subject matter herein and supersede all prior and contemporaneous negotiations and oral representations, agreements and statements. 
Waivers. No waiver, concession, extension, representation, alteration, addition or derogation from the Terms will be effective unless: (a) consented to explicitly and executed in writing by our authorized representative; or (b) we amend the Terms in accordance with the ‘Changes to the Terms’ section above. Failure on our part to demand performance of any provision in the Terms shall not constitute a waiver of any of our rights under the Terms. 
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights and obligations under the Terms without our prior written consent, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. Any attempted or actual assignment by you, without our prior consent, shall be null and void. 
We may assign these Terms in their entirety, including all right, duties, liabilities and obligations therein, upon notice to you and without obtaining your further specific consent, to a third-party, upon a merger, acquisition, change of control or the sale of all or substantially all of our equity or assets, whereby virtue of such assignment, the assignee assumes in our stead, all right, duties, liabilities and obligations hereunder. 

Interpretation. The section headings in the Terms are included for convenience only and shall take no part in the interpretation or construing of the Terms. Whenever used in these Terms, the term "Including", whether capitalized or not, means without limitation to the preceding phrase. All examples and e.g. notations are illustrative, not exhaustive.
Severability. If any provision of the Terms is held to be illegal, invalid, or unenforceable by a competent court, then the provision shall be performed and enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law to reflect as closely as possible, the original intention of that provision, and the remaining provisions of the Terms shall continue to remain in full force and effect.
