Have the users of your product ever found embarrassing bugs in production? Do you feel the testing cycles for your software could be more efficient? Would you like to know how to catch bugs even without a complete test plan in place?

Meet Exploratory Testing: this is a software testing method which aims to imitate a user’s journey through the product. It is frequently used to uncover bugs and issues which might be missed during scripted and highly focused test cases execution. It is also a great and quick way to get a sense of how release-ready is your product.

During this talk we’ll cover the differences between exploratory testing and other testing methods, learn when and how to execute efficient exploratory testing cycles, discover which pitfalls to avoid and see how this type of testing can assist us in fine-tuning the automation testing suite of our software.
