Captain Roni Raffeld-Bluth lives in Tzofim with her husband, Pitzi, and their three children. Before October 7, 2023, Roni worked as a technical project manager, balancing her work and family life.

Roni's life took an unexpected and challenging turn on October 9, 2023, when Pitzi was severely injured during a firefight on the Lebanon border. He was shot in the face and sustained severe injuries. Despite the serious wounds, he is expected to make a full recovery. During this challenging time, Roni focused on caring for her husband and their children.

Since February 2024, Roni has been volunteering for reserve duty as an operations officer at the Paratroopers Brigade, where she is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all operations of the Brigade.

Roni’s experience as a wife of an injured soldier, a 'miluimnikit' and a mother, makes her an exceptional candidate to speak at events focused on empowering women. She brings a vital and often overlooked perspective on the challenges faced by wives of injured soldiers, especially in terms of rehabilitation and the emotional and physical demands placed on them. By sharing her journey, Roni can highlight the importance of amplifying the voices of these women, offering a broader view of the sacrifices and resilience required in such circumstances. Furthermore, Roni's experience of being both a mother and pregnant while serving in reserve duty underscores the deep significance of balancing personal, familial, and national responsibilities. Her story is one of strength, adaptability, and determination, making her a powerful speaker who can inspire others to confront their challenges and embrace their potential.
