From Developer to Architect in the Age of AI
General, Software Engineering, Professional Development, Inspirational

AI is transforming the way we build software—but what does that mean for your path to becoming an architect? The skills that once defined great architects are evolving, with AI taking on more of the coding, analysis, and even decision-making. Does that make architecture easier, or does it demand new expertise?
In this talk, Racheli, a veteran architect, revisits her classic talk Building Your Architect Skillset with a fresh 2025 perspective—unpacking how AI is reshaping the developer-to-architect journey. If you want to stay ahead in a world where AI is your co-pilot, this session will give you the insights and skills to thrive.
