Nicola Grahamslaw has worked as an Engineering Analyst and Systems Engineer in a variety of industries including aerospace and nuclear energy, and as a digital technology educator. In 2018 she was appointed as the first SS Great Britain Ship’s Conservation Engineer, developing a sustainable conservation strategy for the 175-year-old ship, designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and operating as a museum in Bristol. Nicola is passionate about inspiring and encouraging the engineers of the future, working with schools, as a speaker and mentor on careers and professional development. In 2018 Nicola was named in the Telegraph's Top 50 Women in Engineering and won the Women of the Future "professions" award, and in 2019 was named Young Member of the Year by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
