This talk focuses on a Human-Robot-Interaction (HRI) user research in the case study of surgeons performing robotic-assisted surgery with the da Vinci robotic system.
I will be discussing my qualitative research and my findings. Elaborating on the tension between ’interacting with’ a robot and feeling of ’being’ the robot. Concluding with the impact of user experience design in medical technology.
