The pivotal role of women in the dynamic fields of operations and supply chain management, emphasizing the imperative of resilience. In today's fast-paced and uncertain business environment, resilience is not merely a desirable trait but a necessity for navigating challenges and driving sustainable success. This lecture will delve into the unique challenges women face in these domains and highlight their remarkable resilience in overcoming barriers, breaking stereotypes, and thriving in leadership roles. Through real-world examples and empirical evidence, I will illustrate how women contribute to the resilience of operations and supply chains by fostering innovation, collaboration, and adaptability. Furthermore, I will explore strategies for cultivating resilience among women professionals, including mentorship, continuous learning, and fostering a supportive organizational culture. By harnessing the power of resilience and championing gender diversity, we can create more resilient, agile, and inclusive operations and supply chains that drive long-term value for organizations and society as a whole.
