MY TALKS
Your Career Isn’t Stuck. You’re Playing by the Wrong Rules
Professional Development, Leadership, Soft Skills, Women in Tech, Diversity and Inclusion, Inspirational

Are you working hard, hitting your goals, and still not getting the recognition or growth you deserve?
You’re not alone. You’re not broken.
You’re just playing by rules that were never designed for you.
In this talk, I unpack the unspoken dynamics of career growth in tech, especially for women, introverts, and “hidden leaders” who feel like they’re doing everything right and still getting overlooked.
Drawing on my experience as a former Director of Engineering and now an executive coach for women in tech, I’ll share what actually moves the needle at senior levels. Visibility, influence, and decision-making power. Not more output.
You’ll learn how to shift from being valued for execution to being trusted for leadership. How to influence decisions without politics or self-promotion that feels fake. And how to stop waiting for permission to lead.
This isn’t another “just be confident” pep talk.
It’s an honest, practical conversation about what works, what doesn’t, and how to start leading now, even if no one has handed you the title yet.
Takeaways
• Why working harder isn’t the answer, and what to focus on instead
• How to map your influence and use it strategically
• A simple framework for building visibility with managers and key stakeholders
• How to stop waiting for permission and start leading from where you are
• Real examples of what helped overlooked leaders finally get promoted
Quietly Powerful: Leadership for the Ones Who Don’t Shout
Diversity and Inclusion, Community / Networking, Women in Tech, Professional Development, Inspirational, Leadership, Soft Skills

You don’t have to shout to be heard.
As an introverted woman in engineering leadership, I spent years trying to lead like someone I wasn’t. Louder. Tougher. Constantly proving myself. It was exhausting, and it wasn’t necessary.
In this talk, I share how I stopped performing leadership and started leading with clarity, calm, and quiet confidence. Drawing from my journey as an engineering leader and my work coaching senior tech leaders, I’ll unpack why “louder” often gets confused with “stronger”, and how this bias quietly excludes some of the most effective leaders.
This session offers a more sustainable, inclusive model of leadership. One that helps introverted and thoughtful leaders build influence, trust, and visibility without burning out or pretending to be someone they’re not.
What this talk covers
• Why “louder” is often mistaken for “stronger” in tech leadership
• How performing leadership erodes trust and confidence over time
• Real stories from my journey as an introverted engineering leader trying to fit in, and what changed when I stopped
• Practical strategies to build influence and visibility through clarity, consistency, and decision-making, not noise
• A more inclusive leadership model that works for introverts, thoughtful leaders, and anyone done with performative leadership
When Everyone Has AI, Leadership Is the Differentiator - Staying Visible & Influential in an AI-Native World
Leadership, Data / AI / ML, Professional Development

AI is no longer a competitive advantage. It’s table stakes.
When everyone has access to powerful tools, the bar for leadership rises. Output and speed become expected. What differentiates leaders now is judgment, context, and influence.
In this talk, Limor Bergman Gross, former Director of Engineering and executive leadership coach, examines how AI is reshaping leadership expectations in tech organizations. With real examples from senior leadership roles and coaching work, she explores how women in tech can stay relevant, visible, and influential without over-optimizing for tools or productivity.
The focus is not on demos or prompts, but on leadership capabilities AI cannot replace. Strategic decision-making, contextual judgment, and human influence. Participants will learn how to use AI as a thinking partner and amplifier while maintaining clarity, authority, and trust.
This is a practical, reflective session for senior women who want to grow in an AI-native world without losing their edge or their identity.
