Lee Katz began her professional career as a QA engineer. Soon after, she realized that software development is the field she wants to grow in, so she moved to Beer Sheva, where she got her B.Sc. in Computer Science from Ben Gurion university. After graduation, she returned to the start-up where she started as a QA, but this time as a frontend developer. For the last two years she has taken a major part in a server-side rendering service project, and now she is ready and excited to talk all about server-side rendering.

Client Side Rendering is a familiar and popular method for rendering websites. Powerful Javascript frameworks and libraries (like Angular and React) tend to use this method in their “Getting Started” documentations, and this is not a coincidence. Rendering pages on the client side is easy, simple and works great.
However, there’s another, less familiar method, Server Side Rendering. This method includes many benefits, and can be combined with Client Side Rendering to improve your website. In my talk, I’ll explain what server-side rendering is and how it can be used to upgrade performance, SEO and UX.
