Hilla Shaviv, a biomedical engineer and seasoned entrepreneur in women's health, brings over 20 years of expertise in medical device R&D. Focusing on women's wellness and health for the past 13 years, she aims to employ technology for gender gap reduction. Hilla's specialization lies in bio-fluid dynamics, blood flow, and in-vitro simulations.
In 2007, she ventured into entrepreneurship with GalMedics, introducing a groundbreaking tampon to alleviate menstrual pain, based on her proprietary invention. In 2016, GalsBio emerged from her entrepreneurial spirit, with a mission to leverage the vaginal cavity and effluents for a new paradigm in women's wellness and health. Her vision is to democratize and revolutionize this field through cutting-edge technologies.
