The iconic comedy "Mean Girls" movie teaches us a valuable life lesson - high school can be a harsh place, filled with unique and sometimes dangerous characters. Surprisingly, the internet can feel eerily similar. As developers, we strive to write flawless web applications, but is it actually secure? The truth is, the limit does not exist when it comes to potential security vulnerabilities.

Such vulnerabilities could turn web applications into a disaster waiting to happen. However, understanding them is the first step to keeping your applications safe.
From SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS) and more, we'll delve into these vulnerabilities in real-life scenarios and compare them to characters from Mean Girls. Through this blend of pop culture with security, we will cover strategies for mitigating these risks, so that you can prevent them from happening in your own codebase.
