Like most data operations professionals (=the people running human-judgment-based data processes such as data labeling, data curation, translation, and much more), Danielle stumbled upon this career path completely unintentionally. After several data operations roles at eBay Israel where one of Israel's largest data operations exists, and realizing there is no professional space for data operations, she co-founded the Data Operations IL community and has since been organizing meetups and giving talks, because this is a field so vital in today's world and so few people are out there discussing these processes which are the basis upon AI and ML stand.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to Labeled Data Quality
Data / AI / ML, Content

As Data Centric AI becomes more of a buzzword, it becomes apparent that the quality of the data used to train AI/ML models is vital to the quality of the result. But way before Data-Centric AI was a thing, there were many data operations processes already centered around making sure the data is created in high quality. This talk gives an overview of all the ways to deal with the quality of human-judgment-based data - from an operative perspective.
This talk aims to define and expand your labeled data quality toolbox, which surprisingly might not necessarily include tooling development resources - included are also quality methods anyone can use, and also use-case-specific methods that require extra resources.
