Beth Clarke (she/her) is an award-winning software engineer, software tester, speaker, and advocate for diversity in STEM.
Beth’s academic background is in Astrophysics, having obtained a first-class degree in the subject from the University of Bath. She then went on to complete a Software Developer Apprenticeship with BCS after graduating, so she could retrain and enter the tech world.
She has over four years of experience as a software tester, quality and devops specialist and test lead, and has spoken about her work at a number of global events. She is also a committee member of BCS’s SIGiST (Special Interest Group in Software Testing).
