Barr is an Algorithm Developer with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. Over the past decade, she has worked in algorithm development and signal processing. In recent years, she has focused on the automotive industry, specializing in CV/deep learning-based development for object detection and classification.

Most recently, she joined UVeye as a Senior Algorithm Developer and has since advanced to the role of Algorithm Team Leader. UVeye specializes in automated vehicle inspection systems designed to detect defects and damages in the vehicle's body, wheels, and undercarriage.
