There are many common traits between the worlds of rock music and high tech. Delving into rock history and celebrating its female pioneers is a fun and insightful way to empower and educate women paving their way in unchartered territories. Stories include:
The bass player you have heard in hundreds of hits, but don't really know her name.
The Holocaust survivor who led the first female rock band in the United States and was the first major female producer.
The "Queen of Percussion" who is still active after 40 years.
And many more.
