Anat Heilper is a seasoned technology leader with over 20 years of industry experience and more than a decade specializing in AI accelerator architecture. Renowned for her expertise in hardware/software/algorithm integration, she has driven innovation from concept to product, collaborating with Fortune 500 clients and leading cross-functional teams of up to 80 engineers. Anat’s technical mastery spans AI infrastructure, LLM optimization (including KV cache, Mixture of Experts, quantization), and system architecture across diverse platforms, edge AI, and retrieval-augmented generation.

Currently, as Director of Software & Systems Architecture for AI at Intel’s CTO Office, Anat leads the development of advanced AI infrastructure, achieving significant memory efficiency improvements and mentoring technical leaders. She previously co-founded Dualbird, a data analytics accelerator startup, where she built and led the engineering team and architected the software stack.

At Intel, Anat was the chief software architect for the SpringHill (NNP-I) AI inference accelerator—delivering industry-leading efficiency and deploying 100,000+ accelerators in customer data centers. She also led Gaudi2’s software architecture for scalable AI training and inference. Her early career includes impactful roles at Zoran, NetApp, and Rafael.

Anat holds a BSc in Computer Science (cum laude) from Technion, three patents in AI optimization, and Intel’s highest individual honor, the Intel Achievement Award. She is a frequent conference speaker, reviewer, and an active mentor and volunteer, supporting diversity and education in tech
