Winner of the We Are the City Rising Star Champions 2020 Award, Alex is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the IMechE. She is also a Royal Academy of Engineering Visiting Professor at Brunel University London in Asset Management & Inclusive Professional Skills. She works part time as a Technical Director for Amey Strategic Consulting working on innovative approaches to managing engineering assets that involve data and technology. She is also the Founder of Stemazing Ltd – a business dedicated to raising the profile of STEM and championing diversity and inclusion in engineering. Alex loves inspiring others about STEM and mentoring women in engineering. She is also a Trustee on the Board of the Women's Engineering Society.
