Meet Petra, a passionate community builder, speaker, and advocate for technology, gender inclusion, and mental health. Petra is a Google Developers Group (GDG) Organizer for 2023 and a Women Techmakers (WTM) Organizer for the Bamenda community. She has also served as a Google Developer Student Club (GDSC) core team member and a WTM Bambili Organizer, roles that have allowed her to engage with and support numerous tech enthusiasts.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering and currently pursuing a Master’s in Data Science, Petra is dedicated to continuous learning and innovation. She has undergone public speaking training at the Women Developer Academy, refining her ability to engage audiences effectively. Her speaking journey began at DevFest 2022, where she delivered a talk on mental health and productivity in tech. Since then, she has spoken at Flutter Forward, International Women’s Day (IWD) 2023, and various panel discussions, addressing topics such as data science, gender advocacy, and inclusion in the tech ecosystem.
Beyond speaking engagements, Petra is an organizer of the Bamenda Community Challenge, the largest tech initiative in the region aimed at fostering innovation and empowering startups to build impactful solutions. She is passionate about mentoring, sharing opportunities, and helping community members navigate their tech careers. Whether it's connecting individuals with internships, facilitating engaging learning activities like Kahoot! sessions, or leading discussions on tech opportunities, Petra is committed to making tech communities both inclusive and inspiring.

We will look what alzheimer’s disease is all about, and why it’s important to diagnose especially the stages. Then we will see how to use Machine Learning and AI, to stage Alzheimer by building a model with suitable algorithms. Then discuss how to host and deploy it. Later we will look at what causes this disease, alongside how to prevent it, especially in young people. Then we look at the challenges with this solution, and finally, conclude with why this study is important.
