How to Write the Perfect CFP (With or Without AI)
** Note that the event will be in English. All genders are welcome!
So, you’ve crafted a brilliant idea for a tech talk, or perhaps you’re dreaming of speaking at a big conference but do not know where to start. You might even have built the presentation around your idea. Many technical people invest significant effort into perfecting their presentations but overlook the crucial role of their “CFP” (Call For Proposals) as the gateway to actually getting their foot in the door. Writing an appealing CFP requires communication skills and the ability to effectively market both yourself and your talk; something that may not come naturally to software developers, especially introverts. On the other hand, you cannot make it too commercial because you have to provide actual value to the audience and not just sell yourself or your product too bluntly.
Throughout the years, and after reviewing and editing hundreds of CFP submissions, I found the perfect formula for writing compelling CFPs that helped dozens of people get accepted to major tech conferences worldwide (even before ChatGPT was introduced). In this talk, you'll learn to craft your own CFP and how to leverage the power of AI to help you do that, but you have to do it carefully, otherwise, they will KNOW you used it (can you tell if I used it in this abstract? ;) ).
