What is an algorithm? What is a bug? What is code? How can we get our children interested in coding and explain it in their language what we do at work? And who’s it for anyway? Is coding for boys or for girls?

How do you write a book? Where do ideas come from? How do you build fictional characters and villains, and combine them into your story?

Discover Cramel’s secrets and the answers to all of these questions in a creative and fascinating workshop that will spark your children’s interest in coding and remind you as well why coding is so much fun.

*Please bring a laptop for the workshop. You may also bring one of Cramel’s books to get an autograph by the author.

Learning to Speak with Computers: A Parent-Child Workshop - Moran Weber

What is an algorithm? What is a bug? What is code and how can we speak with the computer and get it to do what we want it to do?

Computers are everywhere nowadays, not only on our laptops. Now that AI has also taken over, it seems that there’s no limit for the number of creative things we can do with software. But how can we get our children interested in coding and explain it in their language what we do at work? And who’s it for anyway? Is coding for boys or for girls?

At this hands-on creative workshop, we’ll give our children a taste on how they can speak with computers.

*Please bring a laptop for the workshop.
