Onboarding in lockdown

In this talk I will share my journey onboarding remotely in the midst of a global pandemic. I will talk about the tips that worked for me, how I was able to be productive, impactful and make a good impression on others. The key issues that I will talk about is how to create relationships, make yourself visible in the company, time management and more.
I started working in Augury a little while before we got a big round of funding and we started growing really fast. Since I joined, 60 new employees have started working and I give them an “How to onboard successfully” session. In those sessions I encourage the new employees to share their thoughts and their tips because “we are all in this together”. Another important part of the session is getting feedback that I can pass to the peoples team and improve the process.
