Emily is is a digital trust lead at MATTR, and enrolled barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand. MATTR is a growing team of engineers, scientists and business minds that are collaborating globally to build next generation internet identity infrastructure based on privacy preserving, human centric principles.
Emily focuses on bridging law and technology, particularly in relation to privacy and interoperability. She is an advocate for the legal frameworks that bring privacy preserving technologies to life, and the incorporation of privacy by design in the tools we use on a daily basis.
Emily is a frequent panellist and speaker at conferences and events, often contributing to Digital Identity New Zealand.
